Women’s Soccer: U SPORTS Rankings

Week two of the USport National Women’s Soccer rankings really could read: The more that things change, the more that they stay the same. The top five of UBC, Ottawa U, Montreal, Queens and Laval remain unchanged and may stay that way until September 17th when Laval and Montreal clash and Ottawa U hosts Queens on September 24th. UBC may just be finding their legs as their wins on paper haven’t been overly impressive with their scores, but they’re still winning.
The second five though, things get shaken up with Trinity Western moving up a spot to six from seven, Acadia moving down to seven, STFX jumping to eight from ten, Western dropping to number nine and new comer to the rankings Nipissing ranked number ten, for their first ever top ten ranking.
The women’s season looks to be unfolding with so much fun and excitement, that we can’t wait for the coming weeks.
