Japanese Icon Kengo Nakamura Learning To Coach With Pacific FC

Former Japan national team midfielder Kengo Nakamura will join the Pacific FC coaching staff while he completes his Japan Football Association Class S coaching license.
The veteran midfielder was a one-club man for J-League side Kawasaki Frontale, tallying 546 appearances through an incredible 18-year-old period that also saw him earn 68 caps for the Japanese national team.

Nakamuru hung up his boots after turning 40 back in 2020 and is now preparing to launch his own coaching career. His month-long stay at Pacific FC is part of the process as he aims to secure Japan’s highest coaching license.
