Pacific’s Daniel Ortiz To Coach In English Premier League

Pacific goalkeeper coach Daniel Ortiz is off to the English Premier League.
The club has announced that Ortiz, who had arrived this year as a replacement to Mark Village, will take next steps with Brentford FC.
The English top flight side has hired him as their assistant goalkeeper coach ahead of their third consecutive season in Premier League. It’s a remarkable jump in stature for Ortiz, and a hefty statement that Pacific had recruited quite smartly when it brought in the Spanish goalkeeper coach.
Ortiz had spent the last six years coaching at Barcelona’s fabled La Masia academy, where he worked with a variety of youth levels. He holds a UEFA A coaching license along with a UEFA GK B, and had been a goalkeeper coached with Spanish lower league side UE Castelldefels before his move to La Masia.
An experienced goalkeeper coach was a must for this season, with Pacific banking that 19-year-old Emil Gazdov could step into a starting role with his competition for the spot being just two years older.
