Claude Bolton New Lions Women’s Soccer and Futsal Head Coach

The Ambrose University Lions Athletics is pleased to welcome their new Women’s Soccer/Futsal Head Coach, Claude Bolton. The well travelled Bolton has been working in the soccer world for over 20 years and will add to the program immensely. He has a Masters of Education (MEd) in Coaching Studies from the University of Victoria and has coached at multiple levels including Internationally, Nationally, MLS Youth, USport in the OUA, and ACAC. His endeavours and successes are not only in Soccer, but in Futsal as well, as he has experience coaching with both the Canadian Men’s National Futsal Team and the Guyana Men’s National Squad.
Colin Kubinec, Director of Athletics, says, “We are very excited to have Claude joining the Lions Family and taking the lead for our Women’s Soccer and Futsal program. We believe Claude’s coaching style will be a great fit within our Program and University, and we are excited to draw from his deep well of coaching wisdom and experience. His experience at all levels, passion for the game, and ability to grow programs will be a huge asset for us, and we are blessed to have him join our Coaching team.”
Claude also has many administrative and leadership gifts as he has been a Technical Director and developer of numerous projects in the soccer and sport world. The Lions are very excited to be welcoming this great addition in Claude to the Lions program.
The woman’s team will begin their play the second weekend of September in the ACAC.
