Richard Bucciarelli, MS, R.Kin, CSCS, CSEP-CEP is the Owner / operator of North America’s first-ever soccer-specific fitness company, providing soccer-specific fitness testing, training, and coach education to soccer players, teams and coaches throughout Ontario, Canada, and around the world. He is a Ph.D candidate at the University of Guelph and a Professor of Exercise Science and Physiology in the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at George Brown College. Richard is a championship winning Assistant Coach and Fitness Coach formally with the York University men and currently with the Ontario Tech University Ridgebacks Men’s and Women’s Varsity Soccer Teams. The Director of Sports Science for the National Soccer Coaches Association of Canada, designing and presenting in-class and on-field sports science related coach education programs for soccer coaches, fitness coaches and sports scientists working at all levels of soccer in Canada, from grassroots to professional levels and also is an instruction in Canada’s coaching education program at the Canadian Soccer Association National “B” and “A” Licenses, teaching the “Soccer Fitness” components of the courses.
